Sistem Monitoring Caterpillar (1) Modul speedometer/takometer. (2) Modul tampilan utama. (3) Satuan odometer. (4) Pembacaan kecepatan. (5) Satuan speedometer. (6) Area tampilan. (7) Area tampilan enam digit.

Mode satuan adalah mode 5. Mode satuan digunakan untuk mengalihkan tampilan sistem monitoring antara satuan pengukuran AS dan Metrik. Ketika modul tampilan utama memasuki mode satuan, area tampilan enam digit (7) menampilkan setelan aktif. Tampilan membaca "US" (AS) bila mode diatur ke satuan AS. Tampilan membaca "SI" bila mode diatur ke satuan Metrik.

Bila mode unit diatur ke unit AS, modul tampilan utama menunjukkan "MILES" (Mil) pada area tampilan (6) saat modul tampilan utama berada dalam mode odometer. Tampilan untuk modul speedometer/takometer menunjukkan "MPH" (mpj). Area tampilan (6) menunjukkan "KM" saat modul tampilan utama diatur ke satuan Metrik. Tampilan untuk modul speedometer/takometer menunjukkan "km/h" (km/j).

Untuk mengalihkan satuan, hubung ke ground input hapus ketika input servis terbuka. Satuan terus beralih ketika input hapus dihubung ke ground. Membuka kedua input akan mengatur modul tampilan utama ke setelan yang saat ini ditampilkan.
