Installation Procedure

- Thoroughly clean the contacting surfaces of the wheel and the axle housing.
- Fasten a hoist and suitable lifting chains to wheel (2) . Use the hoist to carefully install wheel (2) to the machine. The approximate weight of the wheel is between 1800 kg (4000 lb) and 2117 kg (4700 lb).

- Install 30 nuts (1) on the wheel. Tighten the nuts to a torque of 570 ± 80 N·m (420 ± 60 lb ft).

- Remove the locking pin from Tooling (A) (not shown). Lower the machine to the ground.
- Remove Tooling (A) .
- Remove the wood blocks from the other wheels.
End By:
- Install the bulldozer. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Bulldozer - Install" for the machine that is being serviced.
- Install the cleaner bar. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Cleaner Bar - Install" for the machine that is being serviced.
