Oil Filter (Transmission Gearbox Pump) - Replace
Note: This procedure is only for the 574 Forwarder.
- Lower the bottom guard.
Reference: Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Bottom Guard Lowering" for the correct procedure.
- Use a strap type wrench to remove the oil filter. Dispose of the used oil filter properly.

- Remove all of the used gasket from the filter mounting base.
- Apply clean hydraulic oil to the gasket of the new oil filter.

- Install the new filter by hand. When the gasket contacts the filter mounting base, tighten the filter by an additional 3/4 turn.
- Operate the machine for a few minutes. Check for leaks. Check the oil level of the transmission gearbox.

- Raise the bottom guard and close the engine hood.
