Start By:

  1. Remove the service brakes. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Service Brakes - Remove". The information is in this manual.

  1. Remove four bolts (3) and four pins (2) from brake caliper (1).

  2. Remove bolts (4) and plate (5) from the inner side of the brake caliper.

  3. Remove three plugs (7) and three seals (6) from the inner side of the brake caliper.

  4. Remove piston (8) from the inner side of the brake caliper. A hammer and brass rod may be needed for the removal.

  5. Remove boot (9) from the inner side of the brake caliper.

  6. Remove packing (10) from the bore in the inner side of the brake caliper.

  7. Repeat Steps 4, 5 and 6 in order to remove the pistons, boots and packings from the remaining two bores in the inner side of the brake caliper.

  8. Use Tooling (A) in order to remove piston (11) from the outer side of the brake caliper.

  9. Remove boot (12) from the outer side of the brake caliper.

  10. Remove packing (13) from the outer side of the brake caliper.

  11. Repeat Steps 8, 9 and 10 in order to remove the pistons, boots and packings from the remaining two bores in the outer side of the brake caliper.
