End play (clearance) of the idler shaft:

Minimum ... 0.25 mm (.010 inch)
Maximum ... 1.25 mm (.049 inch)

(1) Depth of the stopper in the shaft ... 7 ± 7 mm (.28 ± .28 inch)

Note: The plug must not be recessed below the surface of the stopper after assembly and the plug must not extend from the surface of the stopper more than 5.0 mm (0.20 inch) .

(2) Double Flange Roller Tread

Diameter of new roller tread ... 241 mm (9.48 inch)
Minimum permissible roller tread diameter ... 183 mm (7.20 inch)

(3) Torque for bolts that hold the rollers to the roller frame ... 1050 ± 150 N·m (775 ± 110 lb ft)

(4) Torque for bolts ... 135 ± 15 N·m (100 ± 10 lb ft)

(5) Clearance across the diameter between new shaft and bearings ... 0.50 ± 0.06 mm (.020 ± .002 inch)

(6) Bearing depth from end of roller ... 13.0 ± 0.5 mm (0.51 ± 0.02 inch)

Note: Rubber toric seals and all surfaces that are contacting the rubber toric seals must be clean and dry for assembly. Prior to assembly, apply a thin film of oil to the contacting surfaces of the metal seal rings. The seal rings must be assembled square with the bore. Also, the rings must be assembled square with the rubber toric seal. The toric seal rings must not be twisted and the seal rings should not bulge.
