Engine Start Switch

OFF (1) - When you insert the key and when you remove the key, the engine start switch must be in the OFF position. Turn the engine start switch to the OFF position in order to stop the engine. Also, turn the engine start switch to the OFF position in order to disconnect the power to the IQAN control system in the cab.

Note: The preheat system will not be turned off when the engine start switch is turned off.


ON (2) - To activate the IQAN control system, turn the engine start switch key clockwise to the ON position.


START (3) - To start the engine, turn the engine start switch clockwise to the START position. When the key is released, the engine start switch will return to the ON position.

Note: If the engine fails to start, return the engine start switch to the OFF position. Do not attempt to start the engine again until the engine start switch is in the OFF position.
