Steering Frame Lock

Note: To connect the steering frame lock, the machine must be in the straight ahead position.

  1. Remove locking pin (1). Remove pin (2) which holds steering frame lock (3) in the STORED position.

  2. Connect steering frame lock (3) to the front frame.

  3. With steering frame lock (3) in the LOCKED position, install pin (2) and locking pin (1).

Note: Connect the steering frame lock when the machine is being lifted and when the machine is being transported. Also connect the steering frame lock if you are performing service work near the articulation joint.
