Disassembly Procedure

Start By:

1. Remove the winch control metering pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Winch Control Metering Pump - Remove".

1. Remove three O-ring seals (1) .

2. Remove nut (2) and gear (3). Remove the key from the shaft, if necessary.

3. Remove three bolts (4) .

4. Remove bearing carrier (5) and O-ring seal (6) .

5. Remove spring pin (8) and shaft (7) .

Note: Put identification marks on the pump parts for assembly purposes.

6. Remove eight bolts (9) .

7. Remove cover plate assembly (10) from pump body (11) .

   Note: The seals will be damaged when diaphragm (12) is removed.

8. Remove diaphragm (12), the gaskets and the seal from plate assembly (10) .

9. Lift drive gear (13) and driven gear (14) out of pump body (11) .

10. Remove pump body (11) from mounting adapter (15) .
