Removal Procedure

Start By:

1. Connect the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect".

1. Remove any attachments from the quick coupler.

2. Use the hydraulics to put the lift arms in position on Tooling (A), as shown.

3. Remove five bolts (1) and upper baffle (2) from front guard assembly (3) .

4. Remove six bolts (7) and lower baffle (6) from lower plate (4) .

5. Remove three bolts (5) and lower plate (4) from front guard assembly (3) .

6. Install Tooling (B) on front guard assembly (3) .

7. Attach a hoist and suitable lifting chains to Tooling (B) .

8. Remove two lower mounting bolts (9) .

9. Remove two upper mounting bolts (8) .

10. Use a hoist to remove front guard assembly (3). The weight of the front guard assembly is 46 kg (101 lb).
