Speed Sensor (Transmission) - Remove

- Remove two bolts (1), the washers, the grommet, the spacer and guard (2) from the speed sensor.

Illustration 2 g00490580 - Remove the lockwire that holds chassis harness assembly (3) to the speed sensor. Use Tool (A) in order to disconnect chassis harness assembly (3) from the speed sensor at the electrical connector.
- Remove bolts (5), the hard washers, the grommets, and the spacers that hold housing (4) to the cover assembly. Slide housing (4) to the rear of the vehicle in order to move housing (4) away from the sensor shaft.
- Remove spacer (6) from housing (4).
