Hitch (Lift Arm) - Remove and Install
Removal Procedure
- Remove pin (1) from pin (2) with the proper tool.
Note: Steps 4 and 5 are required for 1DR720-UP and 8DN215-UP tractors.
Note: The right side undercarriage has been removed for photographic purposes.

- Attach a lifting strap and a suitable lifting device in order to lower link assembly (3), as shown.

- Use the proper tool in order to drive pin (2) out of lift arm (4) and lift link (5). Position lift link (5) out of the way.

- Remove bolt (6) from lift arm (4) .

- Use a pry bar in order to remove pin (7) from lift arm (4) .

- Disconnect clip (8) from link (9) and remove link (9) from lift arm (4) .

- Remove bolt (10) ,the washer, and large washer (11) from lift arm (4) .

- For installation purposes, mark the relationship of lift arm (4) to rockshaft (12). Use two people in order to rotate and remove lift arm (4) and the wear ring (12) .

- Repeat Steps 1 through 8 for the other side.
Installation Procedure
- Install lift arm (4) and wear ring (13) to rockshaft (12). Use two people in order to rotate the lift arms downward. Align the marks on lift arm (4) and rock shaft (12) .

- Install large washer (11) on lift arm (4). Install the washer and bolt (10) on lift arm (4) .

- Install link (9) on lift arm (4) and connect clip (8) on link (9) .

- Install pin (7) on lift arm (4) .

- Put lift link (5) in position. Use the proper tool in order to drive pin (2) onto lift arm (4) and lift link (5).
