Removal Procedure

Challenger 35 (PIN: 8DN1-214) and Challenger 45 (PIN: 1DR1-719)

Note: Disconnect the lower link assembly from the lift link.

Note: The right side undercarriage has been removed for photographic purposes.

1. Use the proper tool in order to drive pin (1) from pin (2) .

2. Attach a lifting strap and a suitable lifting device to the lower link assembly (3), as shown.

3. Use the proper tool in order to drive pin (2) out of lift arm (4) and lift link (5) .

4. Remove retaining ring (6) from pin (7) and remove pin (7) from lower link assembly (3). Remove lift link (5). The weight of the lift link is 22 kg (50 lb).

5. Repeat Steps 1 through 4 for the other side.

1. Attach a lifting strap and a suitable lifting device to the lower link assembly (3), as shown.

2. The weight of the lift link is 22 kg (50 lb). Install lift link (5). Install pin (7) to the lower link assembly (3). Install retaining ring (6) to pin (7) .

3. Use the proper tool in order to drive pin (2) into lift link (5) and lift arm (4) .
