Brake Valve (Parking and Secondary) - Assemble
- Check all of the O-ring seals and the components for wear or damage. Replace the components, if necessary.
- Lubricate all of the O-ring seals lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.

- Install valve (30), dowel (33), spring (31), O-ring seal (32) and O-ring plug (34) onto check valve (27).

Illustration 2 g00485484 - Lubricate the bore lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed. Install check valve (27) to brake valve (2).

- Install gasket (21) and nut (22). Tighten nut (22) to a torque of
17 ± 2 N·m (150 ± 18 lb in) . - Install gasket (21) and cap (20) to relief valve (18). Tighten cap (20) to a torque of

To prevent possible injury, follow the established assembly procedure and wear protective equipment.
- Install spool (15), four shims (16), spring (17), the O-ring seal and O-ring plug (14) to brake valve (2).

- Install seal (12) onto head (10). Install head (10) into air cylinder (6).
- Install snap ring (7) onto air cylinder (6).
