Engine Oil Cooler - Install
- Verify that all of the components of the engine oil cooler are clean and free of foreign material prior to installation.
- Check all of the O-ring seals and the components for wear or damage. Replace the components, if necessary.

Illustration 1 g00585130 - Clean the oil cooler core assembly with a suitable rod, as shown.

Illustration 2 g00560306 - Lubricate the bore of engine oil cooler (6) and the O-ring seals on adapter (8) with the lubricant that is being sealed.
- Use two people in order to install the engine oil cooler on adapter (8).
- Install four bolts (7) into engine oil cooler (6).

- Install two gaskets (3) and (5) (not shown), and bonnet (4).
Note: Bonnet (4) connects to the rear of all three coolers on the right side of the engine.
- Install twelve bolts (2) into bonnet (4).
- Install bolt (1) and the washer.
- Fill the torque converter sump. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Torque Converter and Transmission Oil - Change".
- Fill the hydraulic tank (hoist and brake). Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hoist and Brake Tank Oil - Change".
- Fill the engine with oil. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Engine Oil and Filter - Change".
- Fill the radiator with coolant. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant (ELC) - Change".
