Oil Cooler (Hoist and Rear Brake) - Install

Usage:

769D 5SS

Installation Procedure

  1. Verify that all of the components of the oil cooler are clean and free of foreign material prior to installation.

  2. Inspect all components for wear and replace the components, if necessary.

  3. Clean the oil cooler core assembly with a suitable rod, as shown.

  4. Secure a lifting sling to the oil cooler. Position gasket (9) (not shown) and hoist and rear brake oil cooler (2) on the bonnet, as shown. Install six bolts (8) to hoist and rear brake oil cooler (2) and the bonnet. The weight of hoist and rear brake oil cooler (2) is 50 kg (112 lb).

  5. Install oil tube assembly (1), the gasket and the O-ring seal.

  6. Connect hose assembly (6), adapter (7) and the O-ring seal to hoist and rear brake oil cooler (2).

  7. Position elbow (5) and O-ring seal (3) on hoist and rear brake oil cooler (2). Install four bolts (4) and the hard washers.

  8. Remove the lifting sling.

End By:

  1. Install the oil cooler (power train). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Oil Cooler (Power Train) - Install".
