Removal Procedure

1. Remove top (1) of the transmission selector lever.

2. Remove eight screws (2) .

3. Remove rear panel assembly (3) .

4. Reposition front panel assembly (4) .

5. Disconnect the electrical connection.

6. Remove two bolts (5) and two lockwashers (6) .

7. Remove electronic control (7) for the engine shutdown.

Installation Procedure

1. Install electronic control (7) for the engine shutdown.

2. Install two lockwashers (6) and two bolts (5) .

3. Connect the electrical connection.

4. Position front panel assembly (4) .

5. Install rear panel assembly (3) .

6. Install eight screws (2) .

   Note: Tighten the screws to a torque of 9 ± 3 N·m (6.6 ± 2.2 lb ft).
