这些电磁阀接收动力传动系电子控制模块(动力传动系 ECM)发送的电子信号。 它们可提供进行机械作业所需的液压油压力。 启动升档电磁阀 (1) 或减档电磁阀 (2) 后,这些电磁阀会向旋转致动器输送液压油。 液压油的压力会使旋转致动器转动,直至升档电磁阀 (1) 或减档电磁阀 (2) 停止输送液压油。 除非收到变速箱档位开关发送的适当信号,否则动力传动系 ECM 会一直让电磁阀保持启动状态。 旋转致动器与旋转式换档器滑阀相连。 变速箱档位开关通过一个活动接头与旋转致动器连接。

当旋转式换档器滑阀处于适当位置时,动力传动系 ECM 会停止向电磁阀输送电流。 电磁阀则会停止向旋转致动器输送油压。 旋转式换档器滑阀便会停止转动。 除空档外,这一系列反应在变速箱每次升档或减档时都会出现。 处于空档时,动力传动系 ECM 会使减档电磁阀 (2) 在换档完成后也继续保持启动状态。
