Electric Drive Pump (Secondary Steering) - Disassemble

Start By:

Remove the electric drive pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, SENR9129, "Electric Drive Pump (Secondary Steering) - Remove".

Put identification marks across separation lines.

Remove two hose fittings (1) and the O-ring seals from pump assembly (2). Remove two bolts (3), the lock washers and gasket (4) from electric motor group (5). Separate pump assembly (2) from electric motor group (5).

Use caution. Plug (6) is spring loaded. Slowly remove the plug from the load sensor. Remove the O-ring seal from the plug.

Remove plug (7) from the load sensor . Remove the O-ring seal from the plug.
Remove plug (8) from the load sensor . Remove the O-ring seal from the plug.
Remove plug (9) from the load sensor. Remove the O-ring seal from the plug.

Remove plug (10) from the load sensor. Remove the O-ring seal from the plug.

Remove four bolts (11) from the pump assembly. Remove cover (12) from the pump assembly.

Use seal pick (A) to remove O-ring (13), seal ring (14) and backup ring (15) from the pump assembly.

Note the position of guide (16). Remove the guide from the gear shafts.

Remove gear (17) from housing (18). Remove gear (19) from the housing.

Remove housing (18) from the pump assembly. Use seal pick (A) to remove O-ring seal (20) from the housing.
Remove guide (21) for the gear shafts from flange (22).
Remove two dowels (23) from the flange.

Use seal pick (A) to remove seal ring (24) and backup ring (25) from guide (21).
