Assembly Procedure

1. Install shim (6) in body (1). The shim is .81 mm (.032 inch) thick.

2. Install valve (2) and spring (3) in body (1) .

3. Install shim (5) in plug (4). The shim is .81 mm (.032 inch) thick. Install plug (4) in body (1) .

   Note: When plug (4) is installed, tighten the plug to a torque of 105 ± 20 N·m (77.4 ± 14.8 lb ft).

Note: Before O-ring seal (7) is installed, apply 1U-6396 O-Ring Assembly Compound to the O-ring seal.

4. Install O-ring seal (7) on the relief valve.

End By: Install the relief valves (rear brake cooler). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Relief Valve (Rear Brake Cooler) - Remove and Install" for the correct procedure.
