Removal Procedure
Start By:
- Remove the cab. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Cab - Remove".

Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids. Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Caterpillar Tools and Shop Products Guide" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Caterpillar products. Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates. |
Note: Put identification marks on the hose assembly and plug the hose assembly. This will help to prevent fluid loss and this will help to keep contaminants from entering the system.
- Disconnect hose assembly (1) .

- Remove bolts (2) .
- Remove pressure and flow compensator valve (3) .
Installation Procedure
- Check the O-ring seals. If any O-ring seals are worn or damaged, replace the O-ring seals.
- Install pressure and flow compensator valve (3) and bolts (2). Tighten bolts (2) to a torque of 34 ± 3 N·m (25 ± 2 lb ft).

- Connect hose assembly (1) .
