The 572R Pipelayer has a front and a rear idler for each roller frame. The idler components are similar to the track rollers.
Stabilizer (4) controls the position of seal (5) . The amount of side movement or end clearance of the shaft cannot be adjusted.
Idler (1) has Duo-Cone seals (5) at both ends of shaft (3) .
The center of shaft (3) is an oil reservoir. The oil is used for lubrication of the bearing surfaces.
