Problem:
The bottom radius of the auger chain housing can show signs of wear from certain asphalt mixes.
Solution:
The following procedure can be applied to resolve the wear.
- 1. Fabricate the following plate according to the detail in Figure 1.
- 2. Weld the plate to auger housing according to the detail in Figure 2.
