O-Ring Missing On Pressure Switch
Usage:
SKID STEER LOADERS246 (5SZ1-289, 5SZ292-339, 5SZ341-344, 5SZ346, 5SZ348-361, 5SZ364-365, 5SZ370, 5SZ374) SKID STEER LOADERS
Problem:
The 3J-1907 O-Ring Seal may be missing on the 173-3837 Pressure Switch in the 173-3038 Hydraulic Filter Lines, which may cause a hydraulic oil leak over a period of time.
Solution:
Install the 3J-1907 O-Ring Seal on the pressure switch. This part is not shown in the Parts Manual.
Installation Procedure
- 1. Disconnect the electrical connector plug from the 173-3837 Pressure Switch.
- 2. Disconnect the electrical connector plug from the 173-3837 Pressure Switch.
- 3. Install the 3J-1907 O-Ring Seal on the 173-3837 Pressure Switch. Install the pressure switch. Tighten the pressure switch to a torque of 24 ± 3 N·m.
- 4. Reconnect the electrical connector plug on the pressure switch.
- 5. Check for leaks.
