NOTE: | This Program must be administered either before or after failure. In either case the decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS45315" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. If administered before failure, use "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description code. If administered after failure, use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code. |

PROBLEM
The existing routing of the cab heater hoses, on certain PL61 Pipelayers, can lead to increased wear as the hoses can rub against the 290-1546 Winch Frame Plate. The cab heater hoses can then prematurely fail and leak. |

ACTION REQUIRED
Remove the cab floor plate to access to 437-1974 Cab Heater Hoses routed underneath he cab on both sides of the engine. Inspect hoses for leaks in the area of contact with the 290-1546 Plate. Refer to Image 1. If no wear is found on the cab heater hoses, do not replace hoses and only follow the attached Rework Procedure. If the existing heater hoses are rubbed through, replace by the same part numbers in addition to following the attached Rework Procedure. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly Manuals for PL61 Pipelayer as necessary to gain access to the heater hose connections to the engine. On the engine Right Hand Side, getting access to the heater hose fitting requires to remove beforehand: the winch cable, the air cleaner, the hood, both engine side guards, the hood support and the turbo air intake piping. |

Left Hand Side cab heater hose rerouting : Use threaded hole drilled on the chassis horizontal beam to install 130-2531 Bracket As with one 8T-4137 Bolt and one 8T-4121 Hard Washer. Hold the cab heater line using one 4S-1962 Clip, one 8T-4136 Bolt and one 8T-4121 Hard Washer. Refer to Image 1.1.1 |

Right Hand Side cab heater hose rerouting : Use threaded hole drilled on the chassis horizontal beam to install 130-2531 Bracket As with one 8T-4137 Bolt and one 8T-4121 Hard Washer. Route the heater hose underneath the battery cable and secure it using two 204-2281 Cable Strap and one 200-6345 Mount-Swivel. Hold the cab heater line using one 6V-1228 Clip, one 8T-4136 Bolt and one 8T-4121 Hard Washer. Refer to Image 1.2.1 |
