--------------- END SUPPLEMENT ---------------

Description of Change: An improved Duo-Cone seal retainer is now used in certain brake groups and wheel arrangements. The improved Duo-Cone seal retainer will reduce Duo-Cone seal face load and improve Duo-Cone seal service life.

Adaptable To: The 143-2703 Duo-Cone Seal Retainer directly replaces the former 130-5406 Duo-Cone Seal Retainer. The 143-2703 is effective with 776D (5ER87) Tractors; 775D (6KR185) Quarry Trucks; 773D (7ER543), 785B (6HK793) Off-Highway Trucks and is adaptable to 772B (64W), 776B (6JC), 776C (2TK), 776D (5ER), 784B (5RK) Tractors; 775B (7XJ), 775D (6KR) Quarry Trucks; 773B (63W), 773D (7ER), 777B (4YC), 777C (4XJ), 777D (3PR) and 785B (6HK1) Off-Highway Trucks.

NOTE: To avoid damage 143-2703 Duo-Cone Seal Retainer should be used with 130-7910 Plate. The former 5T-6380 Plate can be used with the 143-2703 Duo-Cone Seal Retainer only if it is modified as shown in the following illustrations.
