The guard assemblies are effective with 785B (6HK862), 789B (7EK674) and 793C (4AR315) Off-Highway Trucks and are adaptable to 785 (8GB), 789 (9ZC), 793 (3SJ), 793B (1HL) Off-Highway Trucks equipped with rear axle filtration.

Description of Change: Guard assembly available to protect rear axle filtration system and lube lines.

Adaptable To: 785 (8GB), 785B (6HK), 789 (9ZC), 789B (7EK), 793 (3SJ), 793B (1HL), 793C (4AR) Off-Highway Trucks equipped with rear axle filtration retrofit.

1. Use dimension A and B to locate 154-7000 Block (1). Remove paint and surface irregularities from work area. Weld 154-7000 Block (1) to the machine with a 6 mm fillet weld (W1), all around.

2. Use dimension C and D to locate 142-5659 Plate (5). Remove paint and surface irregularities from work area. Weld 142-5659 Plate (5) to the machine with a 6 mm fillet weld (W1), all around.

3. Install 142-5673 Guard Assembly (2) with four 5P-2566 Bolts (3) and four 5P-1076 Washers (4).

4. Use dimension E and F to locate 154-7000 Block (1). Remove paint and surface irregularities from work area. Weld 154-7000 Block (1) to the machine with a 6 mm fillet weld (W1), all around.

5. Install 150-6684 Guard Assembly (7) with two 8T-8917 Bolts (6) and two 5P-1076 Washers (4).

3. Install 150-2970 Guard Assembly (4) with four 8T-8917 Bolts (2) and four 5P-1076 Washers (3).

4. Use dimension E and F to locate 154-7000 Block (6). Remove paint and surface irregularities from work area. Weld 154-7000 Block (6) to the machine with a 6 mm fillet weld (W1), all around.

5. Install 150-6684 Guard Assembly (7) with two 8T-8917 Bolts (2) and two 5P-1076 Washers (3).

2. Use dimension C and D to locate 146-9492 Block (5). Remove paint and surface irregularities from work area. Weld 146-9492 Block (5) to the machine with a 6 mm fillet weld (W1), all around.

3. Install 150-2976 Guard Assembly (4) with two 8T-8917 Bolts (2), two 8T-4139 Bolts (6) and two 5P-1076 Washers (3).

4. Use dimension E and F to locate 154-7000 Block (7). Remove paint and surface irregularities from work area. Weld 154-7000 Block (7) to the machine with a 6 mm fillet weld (W1), all around.

5. Install 150-6684 Guard Assembly (8) with two 8T-8917 Bolts (2) and two 5P-1076 Washers (3).
