Charcoal Air Filter Available Reduces Odors From Outside Air{7309,7320,7342}

Usage:

Challenger 35 (8DN),
Challenger 45 (1DR),
Challenger 55 (7DM) Agricultural Tractors

A charcoal air filter is available for the operator's compartment. The new 142-7069 Air Filter is interchangeable with the standard 116-5796 Air Filter.

The new charcoal filter drastically reduces odors from the outside air. The charcoal air filter can be used in any application where cab odor reduction is an issue. The cleanability of the new charcoal air filter has also been improved to extend the useful life of the filter and minimize air flow reduction.

The filter should be replaced when the odor reduction capabilities are diminished or the filter has been damaged. At this time, the filter is only available through the Morton parts system.

NOTE: The 142-7069 Air Filter is for odor reduction only, and is not for use in filtering hazardous materials.

When cleaning the filter, remove dust by using pressure air of 482 kPa (70 psi), with a 3.18 mm (.125 in) OSHA approved nozzle at least 50.8 mm (2.00 in) away from the filter element. DO NOT clean the filter with water.
