Description of Change: A hose assembly and clipping hardware replaces the tube assembly within the fuel filter and lines group in the above machines powered by 3304 Engines. The hose assembly decreases fuel injection pressure pulses (reflection) at the fuel priming pump. The hose assembly increases fuel priming pump life by reducing the possibility of failed check valves within the priming pump body. Failed check valves can cause poor fuel priming pump performance and fuel leakage.
Adaptable To: The 103-1047 Hose Assembly replaces the former 4P-7050 Tube Assembly in the above machines. The 103-1047 Hose Assembly is a component of the 7E-8713 Fuel Filter And Lines Group. The 4B-9302 Clip, 4B-0418 Clip, and 0S-0509 Bolt are used as hardware for installation of the 103-1047 Hose Assembly. The 103-1047 Hose Assembly is adaptable back to first production.
NOTE: The 103-1047 Hose Assembly is adaptable as a service replacement to the earlier 9Y-3072 Tube Assembly within the 9Y-3926 Filter Group.
NOTE: The 103-1047 Hose Assembly is not effective with D5H (7NC, 8RC, 8SC, 9HC, 1DD), and D5H XL (8RJ) Track-Type Tractors. The 103-1047 Hose Assembly is available as a service replacement.
NOTE: Effective serial numbers for machines built in Japan are not available at this time.
