Description of Change: New viton seal with improved wear resistance and improved high temperature properties is now used in some off-highway truck transmission transfer gear groups to increase seal life.

Adaptable To: New 142-8075 Seal (1) directly replaces the former 6V-5407 Seal previously used in 7G-1150 and 9G-9625 Transfer Gear Groups (not serviced). This change is effective with 7G-1140 Transmission Arrangement (not serviced) in 769D (5TR577) Off-Highway Truck and 771D (6JR151) Quarry Truck and with 9G-9624 Transmission Arrangement in 773D (7ER443) Off-Highway Truck and 775D (6KR143) Quarry Truck. This change is adaptable to all previous 769D (5TR1-576), 773D (7ER1-442) Off-Highway Trucks and 771D (6JR1-150), 775D (6KR1-142) Quarry Trucks.
