Description of Change: The transmission upshift and downshift switches and the transmission directional control switch are serviceable in the machines listed. The new switches have improved engagement when actuated and have a longer service life.

Adaptable To: The new 145-9994 Transmission Switch Assembly replaces the former 112-9711 Switch Assembly (canceled) and 138-2862 Switch Assembly. This new switch assembly is effective with 824G (4SN356-Up) Wheel Tractors, 825G (6RN320-Up) Soil Compactors, 826G (7LN292-Up) Landfill Compactors, and 980G (2KR1260-Up, 9CM660-Up, 2SR380-Up) Wheel Loaders. The new 145-9994 Switch Assembly is adaptable to first production for the machines listed when used with 138-2863 Cover (7).

NOTE: Apply 4C-4030 Compound-Thread Lock to the threads of 095-0641 Bolt (Grounding Terminal) (5) and retaining screws before assembling 145-8673 Switch Assembly (6).

NOTE: Ensure that all black wires with ring terminals are attached to 095-0641 Bolt (Grounding Terminal) (5).
