Description of Change: A clear plastic cover has replaced a steel cover on the rear axle housing allowing oil level to be determined without requiring the removal of any hardware. The sight gauge is located at the rear of the rear axle housing and to the right of the differential.

Adaptable To: This sight gauge is effective with 784B (5RK22) Tractor; 785B (6HK611), 789B (7EK466) and 793B (1HL500) Off-Highway Trucks. This sight gauge is adaptable to all earlier models.

NOTE: For 784B Tractors; 785, 785B, 789, 789B Off-Highway Trucks, apply 9S-3263 Thread Lock to bolts before installation. Tighten bolts to a torque of 25 ± 6 N·m (18.4± 4.4 lb·ft).

NOTE: For 793, 793B Off-Highway Trucks, apply 9S-3263 Thread Lock to bolts before installation. Tighten bolts to a torque of 30 ± 7 N·m (22.0 ± 5.1 lb·ft).
