Description of Change: A new link-type lifting bracket is now used to remove the steering pump. In addition, a new service tool simplifies the neutral adjustment procedure for the steering pump swashplate. The new tooling plate provides a means for more accurate swashplate position measurements, as compared to the assembly procedure explained in the Service Manuals.

Adaptable To: The 138-7575 Link Bracket is a direct replacement for the former 5P-9736 Link Bracket. Use the 127-5653 Plate on the 75 cc displacement pumps on the all Challenger 35 (8DN), Challenger 45 (1DR), and Challenger 55 (7DM) Agricultural Tractors. Use the 127-5654 Plate on the 100 cc displacement pump in Challenger 65C (2ZJ1789-1964), Challenger 65D (2ZJ1965-Up), Challenger 70C (2YL1300-Up), Challenger 75C (4KK2037-Up), Challenger 75D (5AR1-Up), Challenger 85C (9TK1539, 1554-Up), and Challenger 85D (4GR1-Up) Agricultural Tractors.
