Improved Spacer Plate Assembly Procedure For Telehandler Transmissions {3030,7551}

When any 121-8774 or 123-8632 Transmission is being repaired, especially due to low or loss of clutch pressure in the first/second or third/fourth clutches. The following steps need to be taken:

1. Measure the 8 I -4343 Spacer Plate bearing diameters, shown in Illustration 1, in several places to check both size and concentricity. Dimension A should be 72.019 mm to 71.994 mm (2.8354 in to 2.8344 in).

2. Check new 8 I-4343 Spacer Plates in the same manner.

3. Before installing 8I -4527 into the spacer plate, add a coating of Loctite 641 to the outer diameter of the bearings.
