Orificed Check Valve Removed From Hoist Cylinder Groups For Truck Bed{5102,5486}

Description of Change: The orificed check valve has been removed from the hoist cylinder groups for the truck bed.

The 769C, 769D, 771C, and 771D Trucks use a small capacity 292 LPM implement pump. The small capacity pump eliminates the need for the orificed check valve to limit flow to the hoist cylinder groups controlling lift speed of the truck bed.

NOTE: The orificed check valve is required for earlier 769 and 771 Trucks, equipped with a large capacity 416 LPM implement pump, to limit flow to the hoist cylinder group.

Adaptable To: This change is effective with 4T-4168 Hoist Cylinder Groups (Eng. Chg. 07). The 7J-8307 Check Valve-Orificed can be removed from 4T-4168 Hoist Cylinder Groups (Eng. Chgs. 00-06).

NOTE: An engineering change number (Eng. Chg.) indicates effectivity of this improvement or adaptability to previous cylinder groups. The cylinder group part number, engineering change number, and date of manufacture are found on the cylinder assembly near the rod end port.

NOTE: The 7J-8307 Check Valve-Orificed must be removed from both 4T-4168 Hoist Cylinder Groups.
