The 8I-0567 Pivot Pin As. has been redesigned because of possible failure at the keeper plate/pin weldment. The pin length has been extended to protrude through the keeper plate. The earlier design consisted of the keeper plate plug welded to the end of the pin.
NOTE: The former pin can be replaced with the new design (same part number), or reworked by adding additional weld (1) at the pin end surface-to-keeper plate joints.
