CS-433B (4FK) Vibratory Compactors
Description of Change: A new hose clamp has been added to the yoke for better retention of vibratory and propel hoses. Clamps have been added in the pivot area to keep the vibratory and propel hoses from rubbing on the pivot housing.
Adaptable To: The new 111-8273 Clamps, mounted to the yoke, are effective with CS-431 (1XF118), CP-433B (1MG670) and CS-433B (4FK215). The new 116-7488 and 116-7489 Clamps, used in the pivot area, are effective with CS-431B (1XF118), CP-433B (1MG693) and CS-433B (4FK239). The clamps are adaptable to all earlier models using the parts and procedure outlined.
Procedure To Install Plate And Clamps
NOTE: It will not be necessary to performs Steps 1 through 3 for CP-433B (1MG670-692) and CS-433B (4FK215-238) machines since these machine already have the new mounting clamps installed on the yoke.

1. Remove existing plate (B) and weld studs (A) from the right and left sides of the drum yoke.

2. Drill two 14.3 mm (.56 in) holes in each side of the yoke.

3. Install the new clamps and hardware as shown.
NOTE: The right side is shown, install the left side in the same manner.

4. Install the new yoke clamps.
