Usage:
With Idler Oil Pump Drive (If Equipped)
(1) Fuel pump drive and timing advance gear.
(2) Camshaft gear.
NOTE: Make alignment of "V" mark as shown.
(3) Water pump gear.
(4) Attachment drive groups gear.
(5) Idler & balance weight gear assembly.
NOTE: Make alignment of "V" marks as shown.
(6) Bore in the bearing (new) ... 63.602 ± 0.038 mm (2.5040 ± .0015 in)
Diameter of the shaft (new) ... 63.500 ± 0.013 mm (2.5000 ± .0005 in)
NOTE: The groove in the gear and the groove in the bearing must not be out of alignment by more than ± 5 degrees.
(7) End clearance (new) ... 0.13 to 0.63 mm (.005 to .025 in)
(8) Plate. The lubrication groove must be against the gear.
(9) Crankshaft gear.
NOTE: Make alignment of "V" mark as shown.
(10) Oil pump gear.
(11) Torque for bolt ... 55 ± 7 N·m (40 ± 5 lb ft)
(12) Oil pump idler gear
(13) torque for bolts ... 40 ± 5 N·m (29 ± 4 lb ft)
