Usage:
1. Remove two bolts (1) and open the right hand frame assembly (2).
2. Remove plug (3) and drain the oil from the filter housing.
3. Remove filter housing (4) from the filter base.
4. Remove the four bolts (5) that fasten the filter base (6) to the transmission.
5. Remove and replace the transmission oil filter in the filter housing.
6. Inspect the oil filter base O-ring seals and make a replacement if necessary.
7. Install transmission oil filter base (6) in position on the transmission.
8. Install filter housing (4) in place on the filter base. Tighten filter housing until it is against the bottom of the oil filter base.
9. Install plug (3) in the bottom of the filter housing.
10. Close the right hand frame assembly and install two bolts (1).
11. Be sure the transmission is filled to the correct fluid level.
Disassemble And Assemble Transmission Oil Filter Housing And Base
Start By:
a. remove transmission oil filter housing and base
1. Remove filter (2) from housing (1).
2. Remove ring (3) from shaft with tool (A).
3. Remove retainer (5) and spring (4) from housing.
4. Remove O-ring seals (6) and (7) from the filter base.
5. Remove plug (11), spool (9) and spring (8) from the filter base. Remove O-ring seal (10) from the plug.
6. Inspect the O-ring seals and make replacements if necessary.
7. Install O-ring seal (10) on plug (11).
8. Install spring (8), spool (9) and plug (11) in the filter base.
9. Install O-ring seals (6) and (7).
10. Put spring (4) and retainer (5) in position in the oil filter housing and install ring (3) with tool (A).
11. Install filter (2) in housing (1).
