NOTE: This Program must be administered as soon as possible. When reporting the repair, use "PI3273" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description Code. Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI3273" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

A potential for debris lodged in the air inlet pipes exists. The debris could possibly come loose and cause damage to the turbocharger compressor fan blades.

The inspection/cleaning process is applicable to the following part numbers of tube assemblies: 113-1327 (3516B/3516TA)m 113-1576 (3512B)m abd 113-1328 (3512B/3516TA/3516B). Each of these parts have two tubes per applicable engine.
3516 (8TW135, 8TW139-158)
3512B (6GW180, 6GW184-185, 6GW187-188, 6GW191-209)
3516B (8NW148-149, 8NW151-169)
Parts Needed
Parts are only needed if there is a compressor wheel failure due to debris from the air inlet pipes.
Action Required
Remove the four inlet tube assemblies per engine and inspect for debris potentially lodged in the paint on the inside of the tubes. Clean tubes to remove all potential debris. Before reinstalling tubes, be sure to inspect the turbocharger compressor fan blades to insure that no damage has already occurred to the unit. Inspect all turbos. If damage is found, replace the Turbo Cartridge As. as necessary. Photographs of the damaged components must accompany the claim. Reinstall the tube assemblies, secure in place and return unit to service.
If damage is found, replace the Turbo Cartridge As. as follows:
- 3512B (6GW) uses either 148-8169 or 146-7852 Cartrige As.
- 3516TA (8TW) uses a 128-2988 Cartrige As.
- 3516B (8NW) uses either 148-8171 or 148-8173 Cartrige As.
- 3516TA (8TW) uses a 128-2988 Cartrige As.

Service Claim Allowances
NOTE: This is a 3-hour job.
NOTE: To claim for parts and labor for replacing a damaged Cartrige As., photographs of the damaged components must accompany the claim.
NOTE: Additional labor will be allowed for replacing each damaged Cartrige As. The additional labor is as follows:
- On 3512B (6GW), 0.8 per cartrige as. replaced
- On 3516TA (8TW), 1.0 per cartrige as. replaced
- On 3516B (8NW), 1.0 hrs per cartrige as. replaced
- On 3516TA (8TW), 1.0 per cartrige as. replaced
