Usage:
NOTE: This Program must be administered as soon as possible. When reporting the repair, use "PI1418" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description Code. Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI1418" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.
Problem
The Terminal Blocks on the Interconnect Harness Terminal Strips of the EMCP II Control Panel DC Harness and the EUI Engine Harness need to be replaced. These blocks are too small to accomodate the wire ferrule connected to them.

Action Required
1. Shut genset down and lock out of operation.
2. Disconnect battery by either disconnecting battery negative from battery terminal or if equipped turn disconnect switch to "OFF" position.
3. Remove the left side generator access cover to gain access to the terminal strips.
4. Loosen the end plates of each of the terminal strips to aid in the block removal.
5. On the EMCP II DC Harness disconnect air shutoff wires to terminal block #6 and remove the terminal block from the rail.
6. Replace the block with kit block labled 1492-R6T.
7. Secure the block and reinstall wires.
8. Remove the terminal label #6 from old block and install on new component.
9. Repeat this process using the A-B block labeled 1492-R6 for terminal block #39 for prelube pump wiring on EUI Harness.
10. Tighten up terminal blocks on rail and secure the end plates in position to hold terminal blocks secure.
11. Reconnect battery negative or return disconnect switch to "ON" position and return unit to service.
