Action Required
Inspect the tag on all OR1207, 0R1223, 0R1224, and 0R1229 Remanufactured Crankshafts in dealer Parts Stock. If the tag is marked "CRANK A STD.", indicating that it is a standard size, no further action is required. Also, no further action is required if the date code is September 15, 1994 or after.
If the tag is marked "CRANK A .025" or "CRANK A .050" and it has a date prior to September 15, 1994, the crankshaft needs to be removed from Parts Stock.
NOTE: The part number tag attached to the outside of the box. The date code is printed just below the part name and above the part number in the following format - DDMMYYXXX. (Example: A box marked with a date code of 150994470 would indicate a part manufactured on September 15, 1994 at plant number 470.)
