NOTE: This Program can only be administered after a failure occurs. The decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS0795" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. Use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.
NOTE: This Revised Service Letter replaces the October 26, 1994 (Revised November 1995) Service Letter. Changes have been made to the Service Claim Allowances.

NOTE: For 3406C Engines, 3ZJ49797-3ZJ52109, only engines rated at 425 HP @ 1900 RPM with 2T6216 and 2T6217 Performance Specifications are affected by this program.
For 3406C Engines, 3ZJ52110-Up, engines rated at 425 HP @ 1900 RPM and 400 HP @ 1800 RPM are included in this program.Brakesaver engines with 2T6451 Performance Specifications are not included in this program.For 3406C Engines, 3ZJ52054-Up, all engines rated at 350 HP @ 1800 RPM, are included in this program.

- 6 - OR8242 Nozzle (for 350 HP rating)

- 6 - OR8242 Nozzle (for 350 HP rating)
Action Required
1. Rack Adjustment: Find the original factory rack settings using the valve cover identification place or TMI. If the valve cover plate has had previous modifications, use TMI GKN401-06-ESRS (OT's) Specification List. find the original factory FLS and FTS specifications. Add .52 to the FLS and .72 to the FTS settings. Use these as the new rack settings. See steps 4 and 5 for documentation. No fuel rate testing is required.
2. Replace the nozzles with the reman part numbers listed above.
3. Seal the governor and etch or stamp PS0795-1 (the service letter program number) onto the rear governor housing as shown in the Illustration below.
4. Document the rack setting changes in the service letter SIMS entry.
5. Also etch or stamp the new rack settings and other engine information on a new 1210170 Engine Information Plate and glue the plate over the original valve cover plate using 3S6252 Silicon Adhesive.
