Usage:
NOTE: This Program must be administered as soon as possible. When reporting the repair, use "PI1343" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description Code. Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI1343" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.
Problem
- 2G8633 Pins which hold the front spindle lean arm to the front axle need to be replaced on certain 12H, 120H, 135H, 140H, 143H, and 160H Motor Graders. These pins may not have the proper hardness of Rockwell "C" 30 on the end on which the part number is stamped.

Parts Needed
Dealers will need to order parts for this Program.

Action Required
Remove bolt holding 2G8768 Washer on front and rear of pin.
Remove bolt and nut holding 9D9797 Lock.
Remove cotter pin and nut from steering cylinder ends. Allow cylinder to drop, this will provide pin clearance.
Use new 2G8633 Pin to drive old pin from axle, this should prevent lean arm and axle from getting out of alignment.
Note the position of slot in pin for lock. Reassemble and tighten 1D4627 Bolt to a torque of 700 ± 27 N·m
