NOTE: This Program must be administered as soon as possible. When reporting the repair, use "PI3046" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description Code. Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI3046" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

The drive shaft bolts may loosen and need to be replaced on certain 416C, 426C, 428C, 436C and 438C Backhoe Loaders. The 2K4830 Bolts from the rear driveshaft flange to park brake disc may loosen due to improper torque. The 4 - 2K4830 Bolts need to be replaced with 4 - 8T0799 Lock Bolts.

Parts Needed
- 4 - 8T0799 Bolt - Locking
Action Required
Replace the 4 - 2K4830 Bolts with 4 - 8T0799 Lock Bolts. Using the proper torque sequence for circular bolt patterns, tighten the bolts to a torque of 130 ± 20 N·m.
