NOTE: This Program must be administered as soon as possible. When reporting the repair, use "PI3606" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description Code. Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI3606" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

New bearings and spacers need to be installed in the final drives of certain 769C Trucks to insure that they are assembled with the correct combination of spacers and bearings.

Dealers will need to order parts for this Program.
- 2 - 6D0692 Seal-O-Ring
- 12 - 8X4552 Washer
- 6 - 8X5689 Shaft
- 6 - 8X9563 Spacer
- 12 - 6Y9885 Bearing Assembly
- 12 - 8X4552 Washer
Action Required
NOTE: Some of the final drives may have been assembled with one bearing and two spacers. New bearings and spacers need to be installed in these final drives to insure that they are assembled with the correct combination of spacers and bearings.
Remove the planetary carrier from each of the final drives.
Remove each of the planetary gear shafts along with its gear, the two existing spacers and the existing bearing.
NOTE: If two bearings and one spacer is found on a planet shaft it is not necessary to install new parts.
Install each of the gears in the carrier using two new bearings, one new spacer, two new washers and one new shaft.
Install the planetary carriers in the final drives.
