Description of Change: A new seal is used on the precombustion chambers in the engines for the above models. The new seal is made of a material which has more resistance to heat and steam than the former seal.
Adaptable As: The new 6V1585 Seal is a direct replacement for the former 7S3206 Seal in this application. The former seal is still available for other uses.
INSTALLATION: Do not use the new 6V1585 Seal in engines that have the precombustion chambers installed under the valve cover. To install the precombustion chamber, put liquid soap on the bore in the cylinder head and on the O-ring seal.
