Description of Change: A new control assembly (XYCOM Monitor) has replaced the former control assembly (PCS Monitor) in the above engines equipped with a MMS.
Adaptable To: The new 162-1702 Control Assembly (XYCOM Monitor) replaces the former 146-3117 Control Assembly (PCS Monitor) in the MMS on these engines. The former control is canceled.
Special Instruction, REHS0446, "Replacing the 146-3117 Monitoring Control (PCS Monitor) With The New 162-1702 Monitoring control (XYCOM Monitor) For The Marine Monitoring System (MMS)", provides detailed information on the process of converting from former control assembly to the new control assembly.
