Description of Change: New discs are used in the No. 4 clutch for the planetary group of the transmission on these machines. The new disc has a "spiral X" groove design in the friction material. This new design will improve the performance of the No. 4 clutch in these transmissions. The former clutch discs had radial grooves in the friction material.
Adaptable As: The new 9P4254 Disc is a direct replacement for the former 4S8724 Disc Assembly in this application. The new disc is in effect on 768C and 769C with Transmission Serial Number 1WA01380 and on 772B and 773B with Transmission Serial Number 1ZA00864.
