Description of Change: To reduce the possibility of nuisance overcurrent shutdowns by the EMCP II+, several default setpoints have been changed on the EMCP II+. Changing the default parameter in existing controls to these new values will prevent nuisance alarms and shutdowns of the controls during cranking or block loading.

The EMCP II+ overcurrent time delay default changes for setpoint menu OP5-1 have been made to the following values:

P130 - Phase Overcurrent Alarm Time Delay - 20 seconds

P132 - Total Overcurrent Alarm Time Delay - 20 seconds

P135 - Phase Overcurrent Shutdown Time Delay - 30 seconds

P137 - Total Overcurrent Shutdown Time Delay - 30 seconds

Adaptable To: These changes were made effective with production controls with a date code of 11/17/98 or newer. For programming information and procedures refer to the EMCP II+ Service Manuals
