Usage:
Adjust Ball And Socket Joints
1. Remove the load from link (3). Remove cap (2) and shims (1). Clean the ball and the socket.
2. Install the cap. Let the shims out. Tighten the bolts until the ball is tight in the socket.
3. Measure the dimension between the cap and the link with a thickness gauge. Make the measurement half way between the bolts. Remove the cap.
4. Put in shims .015 to .045 in. (0,38 to 1,14 mm) thicker than the measured dimension to get needed clearance. Install cap.
